2018 Interns BCRP Welcomes New Intern Class The Boston Combined Residency Program welcomes 47 new pediatric and 4 med-peds members of what promises to be one of the best classes in its history. The new interns come from 23 states and 15 countries, went to 37 different colleges and 33 different medical schools. They majored in nearly 34 diverse subjects including, in addition to a wide variety of biological sciences, anthropology, ecology, English, French, Latin American studies, global health, public policy, community health, international affairs, economics, political economy, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, chemistry and mathematics. Twelve are PhDs or have PhD-like research experience, and four hold an MPH, MSc or MPhil. Nine of the new interns graduated from Harvard, three from Pennsylvania and Boston University, and two each came from Albert Einstein, Case Western Reserve, Johns Hopkins, Pennsylvania State, UCLA and Yale. Several schools, including Helsinki, Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson and Utrecht are new or relatively new to the BCRP.
